12 years ago from today, Thu Sep. 20, 2007, I believe, @rob_pike, Ken Thompson, and I put our work aside for a few minutes and decided it's time for a better way to write code. On Sep 25, Rob suggested the name Go and that's how it all started. Onward and upward!
